Venue

The WROCŁAW HELAS WORKSHOP - INTERPRETATION OF ASTEROSEISMIC DATA will take place in The National Labour Inspectorate's Professor Jan Rosner Memorial Training Centre. The building is located about a 200 meters from the Astronomical Institute of Wrocław University. Lunches for all workshop participants will be served in the Park Hotel which is 50 m from conference venue.

How to get to Wroc³aw

Wroclaw is the capital of the Dolno¶laskie Voivodeship, is located in the South West part of Poland, in the centre of the Silesian Lowland. With a population of about 650.000 inhabitants, Wroc³aw is the fourth largest city in Poland.

The city is well served by national road and rail links, as well as by air connections.

We will organise transport from airport to the hotels for Sunday and Monday arrivals. You can also use:

Taxi:
The cab fare from Wrocław Airport to venue (at Kopernika 5 street) is about 60 PLN. The drive will take from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic.
Public transport:
Take the bus No. 406. Bus ticket cost 2PLN (2.40PLN if you buy ticket in the bus). The trip to Wrocław main railway station (Wrocław Główny) will take approximately 40 minutes. The bus departs from the Airport at times listed here (in polish). From Wrocław main railway station follow the below instructions.

Public transport:
Take the bus or tram in Sępolno or Biskupin direction. Bus and tram tickets are the same and cost 2PLN. The trip to venue will take approximately 25 minutes.
